Fintech Software Development for Payments, Lending and Wallets

RED SAG is a fintech software development company in India that builds payment flows, lending platforms, digital wallets and customer onboarding systems for startups and growing financial businesses. We work from Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu, with founders in India as well as the US, UK, Australia and Canada who need a dependable engineering team without agency overhead.

Money software has less room for error than most products. A duplicated webhook can double-credit a wallet; a sloppy KYC flow can stall onboarding for days. We design ledgers, idempotent payment handling, audit trails and role-based access from day one, so your product is ready for the questions your banking partner, auditor or investor will eventually ask.

You get a fixed-price quote after a short discovery phase, weekly demos, and complete ownership of the code and infrastructure accounts when we hand over.

Who it's for

Who Fintech Software is for

Fintech founders building an MVP

You have a validated idea and a partner bank, NBFC or payment provider lined up, and need a working product to pilot with real users and show investors.

NBFCs and lenders modernising operations

You are running loan books on spreadsheets or an ageing system and want a proper loan origination and servicing workflow with EMI schedules and collections tracking.

Businesses adding payments to an existing product

Your SaaS, marketplace or app needs subscriptions, split payouts, UPI collections or a stored-value wallet without rebuilding everything around it.

Overseas teams needing extra engineering capacity

You are a US, UK, Australian or Canadian fintech that needs a reliable offshore team to ship features, integrations or internal tools alongside your in-house developers.

What you get

Features we build

Payment gateway and UPI integration

Razorpay, Cashfree, PayU, Stripe and similar gateways, plus UPI intent, collect and QR flows. We handle webhooks with idempotency keys, retry logic and status polling so a dropped callback never leaves an order in limbo.

Loan origination and management

Application forms, document upload, credit rule engines, approval workflows, disbursal tracking, EMI schedules, part-prepayment, penal charges and collection reminders. Borrowers get a clean portal; your credit team gets queues and reports.

Digital wallets and double-entry ledgers

Our digital wallet development starts with closed or semi-closed wallet logic built on a double-entry ledger, so every rupee or dollar is traceable. Top-ups, transfers, cashback, refunds and holds are recorded as balanced entries you can reconcile at any time.

KYC and eKYC onboarding

PAN and Aadhaar-based verification, video KYC, and document OCR through established providers in India, or identity checks through services such as Onfido or Stripe Identity abroad. Consent capture and verification logs are stored for review.

Investment and portfolio dashboards

Holdings, transactions, returns and allocation views for advisors, wealth platforms or internal treasury teams. Data can come from broker APIs, uploaded statements or, in India, Account Aggregator consent flows via a licensed partner.

Automated reconciliation

Match gateway settlements, bank statements and internal ledger entries automatically, flag mismatches for review, and produce daily reports your finance team trusts. This usually saves more staff time than any customer-facing feature.

Admin, risk and audit tooling

Back-office panels with role-based permissions, maker-checker approvals, transaction limits, suspicious activity flags and immutable audit logs. These are the screens regulators and partner banks tend to ask about first.

How we work

From first call to launch

  1. 01

    Discovery and compliance mapping

We map your user journeys, money flows and partner integrations, and list the regulatory considerations (RBI, PCI DSS, FCA, privacy laws) that shape the architecture.

  2. 02

    Architecture and fixed quote

You receive a written scope, data model, integration plan, milestone schedule and a fixed price. Nothing starts until you are comfortable with it.

  3. 03

    Build in two-week sprints

Each sprint ends with a demo on a staging environment using sandbox credentials from your payment and KYC providers, so you see real flows early.

  4. 04

    Testing and security review

Automated tests around ledgers and payment states, edge-case testing for failures and refunds, dependency scanning and a pre-launch security checklist.

  5. 05

    Launch and handover

Production deployment in your cloud account, monitoring and alerts, runbooks, and a handover session. Optional support plans cover fixes and new features afterwards.

Why RED SAG

Why teams choose us

Fixed-price, milestone-based quotes

Once scope is agreed, the price does not move unless you add scope. Payments are tied to delivered milestones, which is easier to budget for on a seed round.

You own everything

Source code, cloud accounts, domains and payment provider accounts are in your name from the start. There is no lock-in and no licence fee to keep using what we build.

Direct access to the developers

You talk to the engineers writing your code on a shared Slack or WhatsApp channel, not through a chain of account managers.

Working hours that suit global clients

Our IST day overlaps comfortably with Europe and the UK, and we schedule evening calls for US and Canadian clients and morning calls for Australia.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much does fintech software development cost in India?

A single payment or KYC integration usually costs ₹90,000–2.5 lakh (about $1,350–3,600). A focused fintech MVP such as a lending portal or wallet usually falls between ₹3.5 and 9 lakh (about $5,200–13,500). Larger platforms with multiple integrations and mobile apps cost more. We give a fixed quote after a short discovery call, so you know the number before any work begins.

Do you handle RBI, PCI DSS and other compliance requirements?

We design with those requirements in mind: storing payment data in India where RBI localisation applies, never storing raw card data so your PCI DSS scope stays small, encrypting sensitive fields and keeping audit logs. We also help with documentation your auditors request. Licences and final regulatory sign-off remain your responsibility or your regulated partner's; we are an engineering team, not a compliance firm.

Can you integrate UPI payments into our app?

Yes. UPI is usually integrated through a payment aggregator such as Razorpay, Cashfree or PayU, which gives you intent flows, collect requests, dynamic QR codes and UPI AutoPay mandates for recurring payments. Direct NPCI connectivity needs a sponsor bank relationship, which is uncommon for early-stage products. We will recommend the simplest route for your volume and use case.

We are a US or UK startup. Can you build for our market?

Yes. For US, UK, Canadian and Australian products we typically use Stripe, Plaid, TrueLayer or similar providers, and design with UK GDPR, US state privacy laws, PIPEDA or the Australian Privacy Act in mind. We work in your time zone for key meetings, invoice in USD or GBP, and sign an NDA and IP assignment before starting.

Who owns the source code?

You do. The code lives in your GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket repository from the first commit, and infrastructure runs in your own cloud account. On final payment, all intellectual property is assigned to you in writing. You are free to hire another team or bring development in-house at any point.

How do you keep financial data secure?

We use encryption in transit and at rest, secrets management rather than hard-coded keys, least-privilege access, two-factor authentication for admin users, rate limiting and detailed audit logs. Money-moving logic gets automated tests, and we run dependency and configuration checks before launch. If you commission an external penetration test, we fix the findings as part of the project.

Can you build a fintech MVP quickly for investor demos?

A clickable prototype can be ready in two to three weeks. A working MVP with real sandbox payments and KYC generally takes 10 to 16 weeks. We help you cut scope sensibly: build the one flow that proves the business, and leave nice-to-have features for after your pilot or funding round.

What happens after launch?

Every project includes 30 days of bug fixes. After that, you can choose a monthly support plan covering monitoring, security updates, provider API changes and a set number of development hours. Extended-hours or on-call coverage is available as a paid option for products that need it.
