India Standard Time is UTC+5:30 with no daylight saving. US Eastern is UTC−4 in summer and UTC−5 in winter, so India is 9.5 hours ahead of New York during daylight time and 10.5 hours ahead in winter. Pacific is 12.5 or 13.5 hours behind us.
We keep an evening overlap from about 6:30PM to 9:30PM IST, which is roughly 9AM to 12PM Eastern in summer and 8AM to 11AM in winter. For West Coast clients, 9:30PM IST is 9AM Pacific in summer, so we usually schedule one fixed early call a week plus async updates.
Most days run on written updates in Slack or email, a short Loom-style video for demos, and a shared task board. That way you wake up to progress and a list of questions, rather than waiting for a call slot.

For milestone-based projects, payments are tied to agreed deliverables; for dedicated developers, billing is monthly in advance. Bank and transfer fees are shown clearly on each invoice.
Our core hours are Monday to Friday, 9AM to 6PM IST, and we extend into the evening for US clients. In practice you can expect live availability from about 9AM to noon Eastern during daylight time. Urgent production issues can be flagged on a shared channel outside those hours.

Formal HIPAA compliance depends on your policies, vendors and operations as a whole, so it needs to be confirmed by your own compliance or legal advisor.
