India is on IST (UTC+5:30) year round. Eastern Time is UTC−4 in summer and UTC−5 in winter, so Toronto is 9.5 or 10.5 hours behind us. Pacific Time in Vancouver is 12.5 or 13.5 hours behind. Canada changes clocks on the same dates as the US.
We are available into the Indian evening, roughly 6:30PM to 9:30PM IST. That is about 9AM to noon in Toronto and Montreal during daylight time and 8AM to 11AM in winter, which is when we schedule standups, demos and planning calls.
For Vancouver and Calgary, live overlap is short: 9AM Pacific is 9:30PM IST in summer. We agree one or two fixed early-morning calls a week and run the rest asynchronously through Slack, recorded demos and a shared task board.
