We have no office in New Zealand. Everything runs remotely, with quotes in New Zealand dollars, written scopes, a shared task board and code and hosting kept in your name. We design with the Privacy Act 2020 in mind and keep your customers' personal information out of our hands wherever we can.
Because India is several hours behind, the changes you ask for at 3PM in Auckland are worked on through your evening and night. For website fixes, content updates and agency overflow, that often means you start the next day with the work ready on staging.

India uses IST (UTC+5:30) all year. New Zealand is 6.5 hours ahead of us on NZST (UTC+12) and 7.5 hours ahead during daylight saving on NZDT (UTC+13), which runs from the last Sunday in September to the first Sunday in April. So 9AM in India is 3:30PM in Auckland in winter and 4:30PM in summer.
A standard NZ working day overlaps with ours for about an hour and a half in winter and half an hour in summer. For regular calls we suggest a fixed slot around 3:30PM to 4PM NZ time, and we can start earlier in our morning for scheduled meetings by arrangement, for example 7:30AM IST, which is 2PM NZST or 3PM NZDT.
Send requests and feedback by the end of your day, and we work on them through our day, which is your evening and night. A written update, screenshots or a staging link are waiting when you start at 9AM, which is 2:30AM in India in winter and 1:30AM in summer.
We design around the Information Privacy Principles: collecting only what you need, storing it securely, and making it easy to let people access or correct their information. If we host or handle personal information purely on your behalf, you generally remain responsible for it under the Act, so we agree clear security and confidentiality terms in the contract.
Sending personal information offshore can raise questions under IPP 12 and should be thought through. Our default is to keep real customer data out of development and use test data. We also set up logging and access controls that help you assess and report a notifiable privacy breach to the Privacy Commissioner if one ever occurs.
How GST applies to services you buy from an overseas supplier depends on whether you are GST-registered and what kind of supplies your business makes; in some cases the reverse charge applies. Please confirm your treatment with your accountant, and let us know your GST status when we quote so the invoice is set up correctly.
We sign your NDA before detailed discussions, and our contract assigns copyright and IP in delivered work to you on payment. If you prefer data to stay closer to home, we can deploy to cloud regions in New Zealand or Australia, depending on what your hosting provider offers.

We can take over sites built on WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify and most common frameworks after a short review, and fixes requested in your afternoon are usually done overnight.

Where access is genuinely needed, we agree security and confidentiality terms in the contract so you can meet your obligations. We quote and invoice in NZD. Most clients pay by bank transfer through Wise, which keeps currency fees low and the exchange rate clear. Fixed-price builds are split into milestones, while care plans and dedicated developers are billed monthly in advance. Hosting, domains and third-party subscriptions are paid by you directly.
