RED SAG provides dedicated full-stack developers from Tamil Nadu, India, to startups, product teams and agencies in the USA, UK, Australia, Canada and India. One developer takes a feature from database table to API to screen, which is often the fastest way for a small team to move without coordinating separate front-end and back-end hires. One remote full-stack developer who joins your stand-ups is usually easier to manage than two part-time specialists.
Full-stack means different things in different companies, so we match on your actual stack. The combinations we staff most are MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js), Next.js with a Node.js API, Laravel with Vue or React, and Django with React. Every developer has a stronger side, and we tell you which it is instead of claiming equal depth everywhere.
Hire dedicated full-stack developers full time, part time or by the hour, or give us a defined MVP or module at a fixed price. You can begin with a one-week paid pilot on a real ticket that touches both ends of your product, which shows quickly how the developer works across layers.
A first working version with sign-up, core workflow, admin panel and payments, built on a conventional stack that the next developers you hire will recognise straight away.
A new module such as invoicing or team permissions, from schema changes and migrations through API endpoints to the screens, with tests at each level.
Order management, approvals, reporting and CRUD-heavy admin areas for operations teams, where speed of delivery matters more than a separate front-end specialist.
Logged-in areas where customers view orders, invoices, documents and support tickets, connected to your existing ERP, CRM or accounting system.
Features that pair a third-party API with screens: connecting a payment provider, a shipping service or Google and Microsoft calendars, with settings pages and error states.
Keeping an existing web app healthy with framework upgrades, security patches, bug fixes and small improvements, without needing two part-time specialists.

Pick the level that matches the work. Many teams pair one senior developer with a junior or mid-level developer to keep costs down without losing review quality.
1–3 years
Delivers small end-to-end tasks in one stack, following patterns already set in the codebase.
3–6 years
Owns complete features and makes design decisions across the stack.
6+ years
Can act as the lead developer on a small product and make architecture calls.
When one person writes both sides, it is tempting to validate a form in the UI and trust the API. Our developers validate on the server every time and share schemas where the stack allows it.
Rules scattered between React components, controllers and database triggers become impossible to change safely. We keep business logic in a service layer that can be tested on its own.
MERN is popular, but orders, invoices and permissions are relational. A good full-stack developer says so early and suggests PostgreSQL where joins and transactions matter, rather than working around it later.
A developer who is shallow in every layer ships features that half work. We tell you which side each developer is strongest in, and bring in a specialist when a problem needs deeper expertise.
Four ways to work with our full-stack developers, and when each one makes sense for Full-Stack work.
One developer works only on your product, around 160 hours a month, inside your tools and sprint rhythm.
Best for startups and small teams that want one developer to carry the product forward feature by feature, week after week.
Fixed monthly fee, invoiced monthly
The same developer every week for about 80 hours a month, usually half days or agreed days.
Suits a live product with modest change: a few features a month, upgrades and support across both ends.
Fixed monthly fee for the agreed hours
Pay only for tracked hours against tickets you raise. Hours and task notes are shared with every invoice.
Useful for fixing bugs that cross layers, adding a small integration, or getting a stalled project running again.
Tracked hours, invoiced monthly
A written scope, a fixed quote and milestones. We carry the estimate risk; changes are quoted before they are built.
Works for a scoped MVP, a customer portal or a new module with agreed screens and data.
Milestone payments against an agreed scope

Indicative rates, before any applicable taxes. The exact figure depends on the developer we assign, the skills your project needs and the length of the engagement, and is agreed in writing before work starts. Fixed-price projects are quoted per scope.
A senior engineer on our side interviews every developer on the stack you are hiring for, covering the topics listed on this page, before they are put forward to any client.
We read code the developer has written, from our own projects or their earlier work, looking at structure, naming, tests and how they handle errors, not just whether it runs.
A short task in the same stack, done in a real repository and reviewed like a pull request. It shows how someone works, asks questions and writes up what they did.
We put forward the developer whose experience fits your product and time zone, share a short profile, and you interview them yourself before anything is signed.
Build a small feature end to end in the stack you are hiring for, such as a team invitation flow: a table and migration, API endpoints with validation and permission checks, the screens to send and accept invites, an email sent from a background job, and tests on both sides. We review it as a pull request and ask the developer to explain their design choices.
A short call about your product, stack and team. We sign your NDA, or ours, before you share code, designs or business details.
We share the profile of the developer we recommend and you interview them. A match usually takes about a week, depending on availability.
The contract assigns all code and work product to you once invoices are paid, and sets out rates, hours, notice and confidentiality.
You invite the developer to your GitHub or GitLab, Jira or Linear, and Slack or Teams. You control access and can revoke it at any time.
A written update at the end of every working day, a weekly summary with hours, what shipped and what is blocked, and a demo when you want one.
Our team is in India (IST, UTC+5:30). These are the overlap windows we plan around; the exact hours are agreed in the contract.
Our normal day (9:00–18:00 IST) covers roughly 9:00 am to 12:30 pm in London in winter and 9:00 am to 1:30 pm in summer. A developer working 11:00–20:00 IST can cover until about 2:30 pm GMT.
On a shifted schedule the developer is online for about 9:00 am to noon Eastern (New York, Toronto), enough for stand-up, reviews and questions. Work carries on overnight and is ready in your morning.
For California or Vancouver we agree a fixed early window, typically 7:00–9:00 am Pacific, plus written hand-offs at the end of your day. We are open that overlap is shorter here.
India is 4.5 to 5.5 hours behind Sydney and Melbourne, so our normal day overlaps your afternoon, roughly 1:30–5:30 pm AEST. Perth overlaps from about 11:30 am onwards.
Before committing to a month, you can start with a one-week paid pilot. The developer works on a real ticket from your backlog, in your repository and tools, with the same daily updates as a normal engagement. At the end you decide whether to continue, change developer or stop. The pilot is billed at the hourly rate for the hours worked, and the code is yours.
If the developer is not the right fit, tell us and we will replace the developer at no extra charge. The new developer is briefed from the shared notes and tickets, and we overlap the hand-over where we can so you do not lose momentum.
Indicatively, a full-time dedicated full-stack developer from RED SAG costs about $1,700–3,500 a month depending on seniority, and hourly work runs about $15–30 an hour. The rates table on this page shows GBP, AUD, CAD and INR ranges as well. The exact rate is agreed in writing before work begins.
The combinations we staff most are MERN, Next.js with a Node.js or NestJS API, Laravel with Vue or React, and Django with React. If your product uses a different mix, tell us on the first call and we will say honestly whether we have someone whose experience matches it.
For an MVP, an internal tool or a product in steady maintenance, one full-stack developer is often the most efficient choice. As the product grows, heavy front-end work or complex back-end scaling usually benefits from specialists. We will tell you when we think you have reached that point.
A senior full-stack developer can, working with you on scope and priorities. For an MVP with a firm deadline and a fixed budget, a fixed-price project with a written scope may suit you better than a monthly hire, because it puts the estimate risk on us.
Usually within a week of our first call, depending on availability and on how closely your stack matches the developer's experience. Uncommon combinations can take a little longer to match well, and we will tell you that up front rather than guess.
Tell us what is not working and we will replace the developer at no extra charge, perhaps with someone stronger on the side of the stack you need most. The one-week paid pilot also lets you judge the fit on a real ticket before committing to a month.
You do. The contract assigns all code and work product to you once invoices are paid, and the developer commits to your own repository from the first day. Hosting, domains and third-party accounts should be in your name too, and we will help set them up that way.
Yes. MERN (MongoDB, Express, React and Node.js) is one of the combinations we staff most. We check that a MERN developer knows when MongoDB fits the data and when a relational database would serve you better, because that choice is hard to undo later.
